History
Lakewood Conference Centre was born when its parent company Holt Farms Ltd (incorporating Yeo Valley Organic) acquired the site to move their Head Office to in 1999. They converted the bedrooms from this old hotel into their offices and decided to utilise the other area as a conference centre.
Lakewood opened in 2000, and has quickly become a venue of choice over the years. Sustainable events where there is a conservation or green issues have always been a key value to Lakewood, and with the arrival of Wills "Eco" Barn in 2006, this has enabled Lakewood to gain strong accreditations within the Industry and Corporate World.
