Lakewood is ideally situated to enjoy an awayday "making a difference" in a real sense to the environment.  At The Barn or in the surrounding countryside, our colleagues at  H2Rock with the help of Les Davies, Senior Ranger of the Mendip Hills (Email: lcdavies@somerset.gov.uk) are able to create a unique day for you and your guests building a style or a gate or dry stone-walling. This can be recorded for posterity with a plaque bearing your company or group name - a perfect photo opportunity!

Nigel and Rupert of H2Rock, (Tel: 07796676593 Nigel@h2rock.co.uk) will supervise the activity, organise transport, clothing and will be responsible for health and safety. .

Adrian Boots (Tel: 01761463356  email adrian.boots@onetel.net.  www.walkthemendips.com) our resident conservationist and expert on wild food organises walks locally.  Why not go on a Bushcraft Expedition?  This includes a walk, constructing a survival shelter, making a fire and wild food foraging. Adrain offers  the two day outing as a stag party week end with a difference! 

All of our activities are low impact on the environment so you can go away feeling refreshed and re invigorated but safe in the knowledge that you have enjoyed it but left it for others to enjoy in the future.
